How to reach AmericaPorts

There is one address, and it is the same one printed in the footer of every page on this site.

Corrections come first

If a figure here is wrong or out of date, that is the most useful thing you can tell us, and it is the reason the address exists.

Write with the page, the figure and the source that contradicts it — a tariff, a schedule, a register entry. The document is what settles it; we will not take a correction on authority alone, including our own.

What happens next is published: the change goes into the numbered corrections log on the method page, with what was wrong, why it was wrong, what changed and the date. Corrections are published, senders are not.

Everything else, same address

Questions about how a figure was derived, requests from press, notice that a document has been superseded, or an accessibility problem with a page — all to the same address. There is no phone line and no contact form, and this page is not a support desk for a shipment.

What we cannot do for you

We do not quote rates, book freight, act as a broker or forwarder, or contact a carrier on your behalf. We do not advise on your invoice or your dispute — the method page shows how to check an invoice against the tariff it came from, and that is the extent of it.

We do not sell placement, position or a link. If someone offers to buy any of those, the answer is no, and if that ever changes it will be published on the page carrying the link.

Who publishes this

AmericaPorts is an independent publication. It is not a port authority, a port association, a terminal operator or a federal agency, and it is not affiliated with any of them. No company, port or terminal has paid to appear here or to be positioned here, and no outbound link on this site is a referral link.

The material is signed by the publication rather than by a named writer, and the method page states that plainly rather than inventing a byline.

Last changed 2026-08-01 · a change to this page goes into the corrections log with its date: how every figure here is sourced.
